The BIOTEK pond filter range uses a unique backwashing system known as the "FLUFF-N-SPIN" system. The internals of the biofilter have been engineered to allow a "FLUFFING" of the media during routine backwashes, whilst the spinning motion causes bio floc (debris) to spin off and beneficial bacteria to remain.
Designed to work with any low amperage koi pond pump (no longer need 2 speed pumps) the BIOTEK filter range, unlike many competitors bead filters due to the Fluff-N-Spin system prevents clogging or channeling, saving significantly on maintenance and time.
